A disability insurance proposal refers to a document presented by an insurance firm which describes the terms and conditions of a disability insurance policy. Disability insurance or DI ensures that the insured person will continue to receive an income in case he suffers any type of disability due to an accident or illness which limits his ability to work or not work at all. The proposal must give the conditions under which the policy will be applicable and the amount or percentage of current income that will be provided by the insurer if the person becomes disabled in the future. The premium amount to be paid by the insured must also be mentioned.
