A legal request for proposal or an RFP is a document whereby a company request bids from contractors regarding a project and the latter writes in the various specifications and prices which suit a customer’s needs. It may also mean a notice issued by a company where they lay down the various specifications related to goods or services and other companies respond to that by sending bids. These request for proposals are usually sent by government agencies or contractors undertaking any government project where they buy equipment or services and it can be done under the watchful eye of the press and public.

  • Companies must submit bids by March 1, 2012

  • The company’s waste management strategy must make sure only eco-friendly methods are used for the conservation of resources

  • The contract shall be for a duration of 1 year
  • The companies must also describe their current experience in waste management and recycling
  • The proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the companies’ qualifications, cost or financial benefits and quality of the presentation of the proposal
