A legal retainership proposal is a document by which a person makes a proposition of offering his services to one who is hiring his services for a limited period or like a contract. Any form of contract work falls under this category and the proposal can be made either on behalf of the person hiring the services or the person offering his services. Lawyers, for instance, ask their client to sign a legal retainership proposal agreement or contract, after which they can represent the client. The proposal must contain details like what is the scope of the work, duration of the contract, how much money will be paid and so on.
