A performance evaluation is an evaluation of the performance of a person at a job, an education program or any other task or duty. The evaluation is generally done by a trainer, senior or employer and is done on the basis of the way the candidate handled the duties, completed the task and produced results.

A performance evaluation proposal on the other hand is a written document that proposes performance evaluation technique or method. The proposal is meant to give the right way in which evaluation should be carried out. A sample of a performance evaluation proposal is provided below and can be used for reference by anyone.

To evaluate the performance of employees, we need to ask each to fill out questionnaires and record their hours of work, results produced and efforts made. This can be done by taking in reviews from team leaders and department heads.

Details of performance evaluation:

  • Each department head must submit a written review of each of the employees in his/her department at the end of the month.
  • Employees must fill out questionnaires in the 3rd week of each month and submit it within 2 days.
